Travel & ExpensesMobile app to manage employees business expenses

Client: T&E Team, UNIT4
Target: Mid- to large-sized companies with business travels and expenses to manage
Categories: UX / Interaction Design / Visual Design

UNIT4's T&E Team requested a complete redesign of their mobile app based on their web app "Travel & Expenses".

First steps

We started analysing the whole existing app feature by feature. Once we had a complete overview, we decided to run an usability test in order to find the most relevant issues.

With our overview in addition to the results of the usability test, we used the MoSCoW method to set the priorities. The project had a tight deadline, therefore prioritising the design and development tasks was essential.

The Prototype

With the priorities and the tight deadline, we created a first interactive prototype, tested it and refined it to get the final version which was sent to Development.

The interactive Axure prototype can be used here: T&E Prototype (user/password requested to show the feature, just type something).

Workflows and Specs

Interactive prototypes are very good to show the proposal, but developers have different needs. For them we provided workflows and specs pages.
